Going to Menorca with a one year old next week and as we are not hiring a car, I wondered if any of you lovely ladies would know if the taxis have car seats?

We took a car seat of our own when we went to florida with DS1 who was just under 2. When he was about 4 we went to Menorca and travelled by coach to the resort (package hol)

We havent been abroad with our youngest though.

not sure what to do as we are not on a package so have to make our own way to the complex.

I have never seen a taxi anywhere with carseats, UK, Menorca or anywhere else. Would take one with you (although it means you have to carry it around with you on your days out).... Are you very against hiring a car? Not difficult to drive around Menorca, and will give you loads of flexibility when there. We always pick up a car at the airport and then have it for the duration - not as expensive as you might think and over the duration of the holiday, probably pays for itself vs taxis/excursions etc

In Majorca you can prebook the transfer with one, try googling Airport Taxis for , is it , Mahon ? I'm sure the site we used had branches elsewhere in Spain and Balearics.

Arenal D'en Castell. We go on Friday and can't wait. First time to Menorca so any recommendations appreciated re restaurants and places to visit.

don't plan to hire a car this trip but still hope to get round the island by bus,taxi etc. Quick question for you? Were the mosquitos bad this time of year?

were going to arenal d'en castell in two weeks time .we went there two years ago.been to menorca a few times this is one of my favourite place .we always hire a car its very easy to drive around menorca.
have a great time.
