The four kids are 12mths, 2yrs, 5yrs and 7yrs. Looking for self catering or B&B need a pool, hotel or apartment, beach and very good day and evening entertainment for the kids.

Have you been anywhere that ticks all the boxes above that you could recommend???

Not to fussed on the country as long as it is hot, looking to go in August.

Cheers

what about the campistes in France, Spain or Italy? The sites are fab, loads to do on the bigger ones and there will be kids clubs and entratianment for the older 2 children. Pools , beaches etc are usually fantastic. Self catering with BBqs usually provided and there will probably be a restauarant and takeaway depending on which site you choose. You'd probably need to book 2 mobiles/tents together to accommodate all of you akthough you can get 8 sleeper mobiles. (might be tigght on space tho!!)

Have a look on www.tripadvisor.co.uk & www.holidaytruths.co.uk (or both may be .com!). We've just come back from our first holiday in the sun, 8 nights at the Viva Tropic in Alcudia, Majorca with our 5 yr old & 8 yr old. Ticks all your boxes and then some! We booked flights & hotel thru easyjet website but prices at hotel go up at the end of may. DH checked prices yesterday for august and it was double what we paid. However we booked it after spending hours on the above sights and it paid off so give them a look

Hi i'd definately reccomend one of the First Choice Holiday Villages. They have one in Spain,Majorca,Turkey,Lanzarote and a couple more further afield.

Just got back from the one in Majorca a few days ago and had the most amazing time,we were entertained all day and night and the kids loved the kids clubs and evening disco.it is quite expensive but well worth it,it's our second time at the majorca one. It's actually owned by the Viva group(as theresa has mentioned)who have lovely clean hotels with great food.

meant to say we were AI but they do S.c too.to be honest though, everyone we spoke to who had gone self catering ended up upgrading to AI after the first couple of days anyway.
