I am a pack rat ....but i think i'm getting better. I am donating and throwing away a lot and it feels nice. I take clothes to the Salvation Army. But if the clothes have stains they go in the garbage. Just because people are in need doesn't mean they should have to settle for some one else's old gross stuff. OMG, this spring cleaning I found those old leather boots that haven't seen the light of day in the last 10 years :

Old stiff leather, worn, unhygienic.... think that those old boots were just smelly disgusting -and I mean DISGUSTING- waste. Here is why:

  1. bacterias
  2. the persons foot is NEVER shapes like yours and therefore can be unhealthy My neighbour blamed me. She said that the donation bag is the right choice for all old shoes. I was very astonished. Who had right in this discussion? Are those old leather boots donation items or just smelly disgusting waste which should be incinerated?
