First trip abroad - how much spending money?

My two children (primary school age) and I are going to Spain on holiday for a week, self-catering. My finances have taken a turn for the worst and we won't be going on day trips etc. I'd like to take them out for a cheap meal or two but the rest of the time I'll be preparing meals myself, from food bought at the local market and big supermarkets.

I've already got toiletries, suntan lotion, after sun, mozzy repellent etc so shouldn't need to buy anything like that.

How much spending money do you think I'll need to take?

Thanks in advance

I would just take my bank card, rather than cash. You can pay by card or get money out at an ATM.

Nothisispatrick I think the OP means how much money will she need.
Mummyofcute2 try to get to a large supermarket or a Lidl/Aldi (much nicer than at home) and stock up on cold drinks, ice lollies etc. Your money will go a lot further than at home. You can get lovely fresh bread for breakfast (€1) and if you eat out at lunchtime it can be a lot cheaper than in the evening Get a Menu del Dia, usually 10-12 euro for 3 courses, including a glass of wine. You can get a few tapas for the kids and all share. A large bottle of water is cheap. Try keep the fizzy drinks or juices to the apartment as these are 3 or 4 euro each, more expensive than wine! Desserts can be 5-8 euro. Have an icecream on the way home instead. Bring a cool bag with you for drinks, picnics etc. You will still have a lovely time on a budget, so will your kids. If you have 50 euro per day, you will be able to stock up the fridge with lovely food and drink and eat out quite a few times.

Make sure you have a card that doesn’t charge you

I just use a starling bank card. No charges and a debt card so no credit checks.

I’d be working on an average of eur100 per day.

I agree with mirmic. Currently in Spain now and although we’re all inclusive, we’ve been out for a few meals and the most we’ve spent is €70 for all four of us. That includes a few alcoholic beverages.
The supermarkets do lovely bread, ham, cheese, crisp and croissant’s very cheap. We’ve had a few picnics on the beach Dc loved it. Hope you have a lovely time.
