Where is the best short haul destination (from the UK) to go in half term with a 6 year old and 4 year old? I've been looking at a gorgeous all inclusive in turkey but looking at the weather is only averaging 16-24 degrees in oct and there is a risk of getting a bad week and it not being warm at all.
I like the idea of it being cooler - been to turkey before at 40+ degrees and it was intense! However my kids will not enjoy seeing sights or doing day trips at all so we need the sun! There's an added pressure that we haven't been on holiday since we had the kids so it's our first proper family holiday, we'll be spending quite a bit for us as we're limited to school holidays and i really want it to be nice.
Where else would people recommend in Oct where you have a good chance of a decent beach holiday with little ones? Thanks!
