Do we need a passport for DS?

Planning to fly to Gatwick from Manchester with 14 wk DS -probably a stupid question but will we need a passport or some ID for him?

No, you won't as long as you have photo id you'll be fine

well if you need photo id you probably would- what other photo id can you get for a baby?

I'd ring the airline and ask them

Check with airline . They might require his birth certificate and your photo id (ie driving licence).

You only need photo ID for yourself - no the baby (on internal flights).

I really don't think you would, I fly to dublin very often with dd, same rules apply to internal flights, and no id is needed for children travelling with adults.
maybe call the airline to put your mind at rest though

ahhh, I was thinking what a strange rule it woul dbe if babies had to have photo id lol
