Come on you well travelled mumsnetters! need help here.... sil's hubby is in the navy and he's going away soon for at least 3 months... poor old sil has 2 babies and not only will she miss hubby but will miss daddy too! so she's planning to rent a villa in malta around oct as that's when he'll be landing (dunno the correct sea worthy term is!), in the vain hope that they can have a couple of days together!...

so.... trying to find a villa around Valleta (sp), preferabley with swimming pool, with 4 rooms min (grandparents are going too!) any help will be muchly appreciated!!!

tia!

You'd be hard pushed to get a villa in Valetta. It's an extremely built up capital city it would be rather like trying to find a villa in the centre of London only on a smaller scale. Malta is a very densly populated island and I don't know of any holiday companies that do villas in Malta but there are some fairly swanky hotels.

thanks Trifle... have been looking on a few websites and i've actually found a couple.... just thought that mumsnetters might have a few more ideas... looking at the pics and the thought of swimming pools makes me think.... hmmm maybe we should join them! (we have been invited!) but the thought of towing along a 3yr and a 7 month old doesn't sound too relaxing to me! - or maybe i'm just a travel wuss!

thanks for the reply anyway!
