can recommend this for families with pre-school/infant school children:

www.higherlankfarm.co.uk/

don't know of any cottage co.s though - sorry!

wheresthehamster · 31/05/2007 09:59

We stayed here many moons ago with English Country Cottages. Our children were pre-school so we were able to go a few years running out of school holidays.

Kingswear is across the river from Dartmouth.
Very pretty countryside. The site was geared up for children but this was 10 years ago so don't hold me to it!

wheresthehamster · 31/05/2007 10:00

here even

wheresthehamster · 31/05/2007 10:02

Sorry, that's weird - the link works in preview.

If it's not coming up then I'm talking about Lovage Cottage on Nethway Farm in Kingswear.

Honestly, it's worth looking at!

saltire · 31/05/2007 10:14

here is where we stayed

Not in that cottage though. There are about 12 on the farm, in various sizes. There is an indoor pool, children's play area, tarmpolines, snooker table, toddlers indoor play area etc.
We booked with cottgae 4you, have done for the past 3 years they are good. A lot of the cottgae on their website allows you to see inside with virtual tours

ChasingSquirrels · 31/05/2007 10:26

we have stayed at bisonver for the last 4 years, great for kids. we went last week and they were just finishing a small indoor playbarn

ChasingSquirrels · 31/05/2007 10:27
