Anyone been to Strasbourg from the uk?

Did you fly, drive or travel by Eurostar?
Did you book travel and accommodation separately?
Can you recommend somewhere to stay?

We fly, but some family take the train and change in Paris. Other relatives fly to Karlsruhe or Basel and hire a car.

Hotel Diana is good.

Eurostar to Gare Nord then fifteen minute stroll to Gare EST for three hour (ish) train to Strasbourg.

I usually Air BnB but have stayed in a few hotels. What kind of place do you want?

It’s a lovely town and a good size to explore over a weekend.

Did Eurostar, had a great time. Loved Strasbourg.

I think my favourite hotel in Stras is the Gutenberg. It’s very central, very near the Cathedral and has nice high ceilings in every room. It’s increased in price recently though.
