HELp quick- Quinta do Lago, yes or no?

Five nights in August in Quinta do Lago with a four year old . Can anyone recommend or not recommend? Need to book asap!

Thanks taken - what's good about it though? Is it good for kids?

We liked the resort itself, but it's a bit of a celeb haunt these days by the look of the Daily Fail. Colleen Rooney there at moment, and Holly Willoughby. That alone would put me right off . I didn't really like The Algarve that much, I much prefer Spain. The sea was a lot nicer and beaches, and there was a more child friendly vibe everywhere. Our kids loved Calpe, and Nerja.

Thanks cocoa - food for thought. I don't think wherever Rooney and Willoughbooby are staying is in our price range so probably won't bump into them 😁 Hadn't thought about Nerja though - I'll have a look

Great for kids
I have been only without them as I didn't. Have kids when I went but the places are all very accessible and smooth so easy to push a pram
Resturaunts all very family friendly
