well, as title suggests, wasn't sure where to post this so am gonna put it here and x post in weight loss.

I'm going to center parcs - whinfell in july. I really really really want to go horseriding and have been trying to lose weight for this reason (and many others of course). Anyway, have lost 10lbs but am still 14.10lbs (eek!!)

I'm sure i read somewhere in brochure that you have to be under 15stone to ride. Do they ask you when you go to the stables do you think? I really don't want to be announcing my huge weight to rest of my family (including super thin, super fit SIL).

Am gonna keep up with my diet but can't see me losing more than a couple of pounds by the time we go.

Anyone been horseriding, I was imagining trekking through a wood but am now wondering if they just have some girl leading you round in circles in a stable yard with loads of 3yr olds on ponies...

anyone any ideas or comments?

p.s - am not gonna lie about my weight cos of poor horse, i wouldn't like to carry me around for any length of time!

Dh went to a stable where they had a 17st sign up DH weighed over 19st at the time, he told stable staff and they didn't belive he was that heavy. They just gave him the biggest horse and said it was OK as it was only a 45min ride.

You are under the limit so don't worry about it .
