Time for new passport to arrive?

Has anyone applied online in the last few weeks for a renewal of child passport? How long did it take? I'm wondering (slightly panicking) about the current waiting time for it to come back! TIA

In may our new child application passport took ten days from application to receiving the passport.

My child renewal at the end of June took 8/9 days which I thought was very quick as I thought it was peak time for passport office.

Mine was one week, two weeks ago

Postal application, child passport just expired so it was renewed as a first adult passport - came back in less than a week (arrived a couple of days ago).

Anyone know about child's first passport? The wait I mean.

I'm flying on an internal flight and don't need them but keep panicking/having nightmares I get to the check in desk and they won't less us board

I did online childs first passport two weeks ago, took 8 working days 😊

Just did my online app, took 5 working days.

I renewed online, took two weeks. Applied on the 3rd, new one received on 17th.

Hi guys I hope some one can give me some advice...so I fly out on the 13th of August and I had to renew my daughter passport I got the text saying it should arrive by the 9th but yesterday my friend got a letter where she had to confirm my daughter name address and so on she said she has sent it back in the 2nd class pre paid envelope they sent but I'm just worried that my daughter passport ain't sorted in time I called the passport office today and the man I spoke to just said nothing can be done untill they get the letter back has anyone been though this and if so how long did it all take...it's really stressing me because there is no way I'm going away with out my daughter I don't have to heart to leave her with my mum and everyone else go...sorry for the long message guys

They can fax the letter to your friend and she can fax it back to speed things up. I'd have thought it will be with you by then though. Give them a call if you're worried.

Oh that's good I wasn't aware they could do that the person I had spoken to at the passport office was no help at all I even asked could he give me any advice and he didn't even respond...Thank you so much.
