Short break with kids

We want to go away in October.
We've done a beach al this year and I want to try and do something a bit different. But we have 3 young dcs. 4,2&6 months.

Not bothered about hot weather, want a short flight and enough to do to keep the kids entertained and to feel like we've experienced slightly more than a beach and a buffet!

Is that possible with small kids!? I was thinking Copenhagen but no idea if it's sensible with little ones!?

Copenhagen is quite a child-friendly city but I wouldn't do it with a pushchair.
When I had DC about that age, we had a lovely holiday at Beekse Bergen in Holland. We flew to Eindhoven and then got a transfer which took about 30mins. We stayed in the holiday park www.beeksebergen.nl/en/stay-the-night and spent most of the time at BB but also did a day trip to Efteling which is only 20 minutes away.

id still try and head towards the sun tbh, because with kids, if you need to find indoor entertainment for every single day and cant spend a lazy day at a park or beach or pool, its going to get expensive for a start even if you dont find it depressing

Kids that little want a beach/toddler pool, playground, indoor soft play, farm, aquarium, etc and that's about all.

I've been to Copenhagen several times, but I wouldn't take young DC there, because there isn't a lot for them to do. Beekse Bergen is good, but maybe a bit chilly in Oct - probably the same as here. I'd probably go somewhere warm with at least some of the above - Canaries, Cyprus, Balearics, etc. It should still be warm in Oct for outdoor play, fun and paddling.
