How to claim compensation through Airbnb?

Booked a 2 bed airbnb flat for me and my friend. Just days before arrival we were told due to H&S, the other bedroom was now off limits! But not to worry as there was a sofa bed and so no compensation would be given.

We didn’t push it as were scared we’d be left without a place to stay as alternatives were really expensive.

The sofa bed was OK, bur we made sure at time of booking to pay another £50 a night for a proper 2 bed.

A few other things were not ok with the place, so we got back and asked for a partial refund/monwy back. (airbnb said this was an option).

Then got a super snarky reply saying we left the place in a dump and so they were actually claiming money off us! (£200!) It was spotless!

What do I do now??!

I'd you take any photos of yourselves/videos while you were there? These can be used as proof. Also whatever communication you recieved prior can be used to strengthen your position as well as any previous good reviews you have received in the website/bad reviews they recieved.
