We are due to fly to DFW soon. We've done it before and somehow it seems to take an age to get out. Once we've cleared immigration/customs, the whole bus to car hire centre, queue for ages, pick up car saga seems to take so much longer than it should (although it is easy). Our next trip will be the first time we have DC with us, and I'm dreading the whole thing! Admittedly it's the combo of 2 hour drive to Heathrow, 10 hour flight and then 3 hour drive in US which is the real slog!
Does anyone else fly in to/hire cars at DFW, and have you got any top tips?
