Irish passport

Our family is travelling to Corfu on Monday. It's our kids first foreign holiday.

We have a major problem! We applied for our youngest boys first Irish passport nearly 3 months ago. We still don't have it and the passport office are still processing it. They initially said it would be ready by 29th June. We are in London so could collect from their London office.
We have been phoning and web chatting with them every day for the last week. We are not getting much reassurance from them but they are saying it has been prioritised.

Does anyone have any advice? Or experience of similar.

No but bumping as we applied for our start July and just looked at tracked and ours aren’t due to reach us until 4 days after our holiday starts in late September 🤦🏽‍♀️
Is it always this slow or is this fall out from Brexit?
What happened in your situation, shoppers??

Tracking, not “tracked”

I was in this situation. I had a web chat with them.. took ages to get connected as so many in queue!!.. I gave the date of my holiday and they put it through faster.. got it just in time.. it's a worry though 😞
