Bit of a tall order but looking for a hol approx 3 hours from UK, really looking for something with minimal effort to arrange so resort/package suggestions would be ace 👍

Poland - but not if you want a resort type thing.
City breaks are brilliant

That's anywhere in the Med... Can you narrow it down a bit? What are you looking for? Budget etc? You can just go on eg the Tui website and add in some criteria, I tend to sort by tripadvisor rating.

Wow, that was a quick response! Thanks. Should have said pref is not for city break (tendency is for these and then I can't help itinerising and trying to see the whole city).

Looking for somewhere that is suitable for 5 year old, be great if some kids ents but also don't want to be somewhere that's so heavily 'family' it feels like a theme park. Looking to try and relax (might be a bit hopeful) so somewhere pretty but not lots of sightseeing.

Just had a week in Menorca with friends. Had a villa with pool. Wasn't keen when we first arrived but it really grew on me and I didn't want to leave. We stayed in Binibeca/Cala Torret. Beautiful but small and pricey. Punta Prima more touristy with more amenities. Son Bou which I didn't warm to, had lots of facilities but honestly could have been any resort catering for Brits, Ciutadella the old capital was fab for shopping and wandering. Hundreds of beautiful bays with the clearest water I have ever seen.

You need deeper pockets than on the mainland though, eating out was about double what we pay in our area of Spain. Despite this we will be going back.

I've been to calla Blanca
Calan porter and Cala blaines
Calan blaines was the most touristy but still not that busy
I loved csla Blanca
im going back next year and will be trying another resort
Loved Mahon harbour and the steps down are just amazing
Also loved the buildings in cuitedella
A great place for lunch and shopping
I don't find it expensive to eat but then I've never been to mainland Spain
I find it very laid back in menorca which I love
We always get a villa with a pool so we can pretty much do what we want

With 5 year old Le canne family spa in ischia- Italy. Blissful relaxation great food and kids entertainment free. it’s so cheap as food included - popular with Italians so you can be confident it’s good Grin Did I say they have a spa on site? It’s 2 hours flight to Naples then 1 hr ferry to the island.
