Help please. I read a fabulous thread on here a while ago about what people pack when they go on holiday, but I can't find it now. So please help me! We are going to the Caribbean for two weeks, a family of four. What are your tips, tricks and invaluable items when you pack?

my top tip is scatter clothes between cases, so if a case vanishes no one is left naked.

for a beach trip, take half what you think you need. one on, one in the wash, plus one extra for kids.

and by wash I mean in the shower with you that evening. Smile

We did two weeks in the Caribbean on hand luggage only. Shouldn’t need to much stuff

I use a very lightweight bag and always roll my clothes. I usually also put everything I think I need on the bed then reduce from there.

Take at least one hold luggage case.

Means you can take all the liquids you need and have plenty of room for enough clothes so you don't have to be dealing with washing every day on holiday. You will also have a surprising amount of weight in things like devices and chargers.

Suncream especially can be very expensive abroad so it only takes a couple of bottles to wipe out most of the saving in being hand luggage only.

Wear your heaviest clothes and shoes on the plane to save luggage allowance.
