jordan in oct half term

hi does anyone have any experience of jordan at end of oct? we have kids of 16, 14 and 8. will it be exhausting for the younger one? any recommendations for hotels in petra? thanks

Not at all exhausting - you can do as little or much as you like and DC can ride donkeys if they get tired. Mine were much younger and loved it.

Stay at the Petra guest house - it's low key and basic but right at the entrance so you can beat any rush to enter Petra.

I wouldn't spend more than a couple of days there - we saw all the key sites in a day even with a 5 year old. Then head down to Dead Sea. The kepinski is nice.

Oh and weather can be very mixed, first time I went there I assumed it'd be hot and it was freezing! Pack accordingly Smile
