Hi, we're considering an activity based holiday for October half term with our 2 DDs (11 & 8). We like the look of Neilsons in terms of flight length and activities but have some reservations that I'm hoping someone can help with!
Firstly, we'd like to do the activities as a family rather than the kids doing activities in kids club and us doing our own thing.
Similarly for meals.
For activities and meals a lot seems to be made of the children doing their own thing and the parents getting a break which is great but not the holiday we're looking for.
Our other concern is how the activities get booked up - do you have to be there on day 1 with your list and hope you're at the front of the queue or does there tend to be availability through the week?
Based on the above, Neilsons may not be for us but if not them or the similar Mark Warner then any alternative recommendations?
I've seen Rockley in France which looks good but is only available through August.
