Was thinking Spain but think the weather is a gamble and would need to book in adavance for it to be cheap enough.

Any ideas ?!!! TiA

I liked the algarve in October, weather was sunny and in the twenties.

I would avoid albufeira because it's too touristy for me and maybe sagres which is absolutely lovely but a bit windy,

I was in Corfu last few days of September/first few days of October. It was idyllic! This year I'll be in Rhodes about the same time.

I went to Crete in October just at the end of the holiday season. The weather was warm but some stuff had already closed.
However the venue was rather swanky and all inclusive. We had a lovely time.

Sorry, I didn't say but it was such a bargain. It was the Blue Lagoon at Nicholas.

Notmorewashing · 01/07/2018 07:08

Thank you!

Anyone been to Croatia around this time ?

Malta and/or Gozo. We went early October last year, still 30C+, sea lovely and warm, eating out, flights and accomodation good value, lots of interesting things to see and do, or Gozo especially can be great for the completely relaxing holiday if that's what you want.
