Franny I have two tickets that will get two children in free (need a paying adult per free child) for Woburn if you want them. They run out at the end of june. I don't want anything for them.

apparently they have people posted on every public footpath to stop anyone sneaking in without paying. Which seems a bit tight. 'How dare you walk on our footpaths, you ordinary person' kind of attitude. If the aristocracy can't do a bit of graciousness, they should be sent to live on rough council estates and the tenants should get Woburn.

woburn is lovely. The enclosures were huge, but IIRC the roads through them were quite bendy so you do get chance to see the animals, wherever they are in the enclosure. It isn't quite a safari like I imagined where they are all running wild, but it is a lot better than any kind of zoo environment.

ds1 was terrified of the lorikeets and chucked the nectar all over the floor!
