Valet parking at Gatwick

Any recommendations for meet and greet parking at Gatwick? The on-site one is £133 but have found one company for £62 and everything in between.
You read so many stories of cars being ruined when these companies take them off to unsecure parking while you're away so seeing if anyone out there had a good experience?
Thanks!

I've used some of the other ones and no problems with the car ajd an easy drop off process. The issue we've had is having to wait on our return to collwct the car despite phoning on arrival. This is due them being rather short staffed in my opinion and the distance away the car is.
Now personally house the official one so I know the car will be there as soon as I - I'm always so tired on return and hate waiting around!

I would go official parking only.

I did one of the unofficial meet & greets last year. Never again. We had to wait 30 mins to be met at Gatwick and when we returned (at 11pm at night) it took them 90 mins to return our car. Never ever again, it woukd of been quicker to park in the long stay and get the bus (and cheaper).

Thanks for your replies, think we'll spend the extra and go official esp as we'll be travelling with a baby

Have you looked at the Summer Special car park? We used it last month and it was cheaper than long stay. Its at the North Terminal and after you enter you hand your keys over, get a ticket, take a very short bus ride to the terminal and do the reverse on the return. We were flying from the South Terminal so has to take the small shuttle train between the terminals but no biggy. It was a really simple and quick process and the car didn't look like it had been parked in a field or been on joy rides (to be fair, I wouldn't pick it if I was a joy rider though!).

DP booked the official gatwick one today for 10 nights for 115. I personally always go for the cheapest one as I dont really believe all his paranoia about what they do, and our cars are fairly crap anyway, but there you go. To be fair, all the ones we've used before (official, he booked, random, I booked) have all been fine and very easy. He claims one of the cheap ones siphoned off diesel but im not convinved ...

What's the "official" parking? We've use a company called Meteor many times, car was returned fairly quickly and seemingly undamaged each time!
