Hi just wonder if anyone can offer some advice.
Going away in a few weeks and the airbnb that we'd booked has removed the private pool (!) due to regulations, so we are left with a booking for a very nice apartment but not what we wanted. All other flats with pools are understandable fully booked as it's short notice.
So we have two options for the amount that we spent on the booking.

Stick with the booking and try and get some refund (which we ought be able to apparently). The apartment is quite large and a bit big for two but was booked as it was one of the few to have a private pool. It's cleaned a few times in the week that we're there. Great location.

Cancel it and book into a 5* star hotel with breakfast and a swimming pool.
We would appreciate the chance to cook in, but the city it is in average about 35c and goes to 40c in Summer. I for that reason feel a swimming pool or even a hot tub is a must to enjoy the holiday. It's a sight seeing trip and is for 6 days.
Another option is to try and change the booking and do two cheaper nights in a nice hotel with a pool, to make a it bearable, but is that too much moving?
What would you do?
