Child friendly hotel in Fira, Santorini

My husband is insisting that we stay in one of those places clinging to the cliff, with fantastic views, although I'm trying to convince him that they don't look suitable for a 3 year old.
Has anyone stayed in this area with small children and found somewhere where the pool doesn't nearly hang off the cliff, with not a railing in sight?

to be honest the pool is probably more dangerous than the cliff

are you sure you want to stay in Fira itself? Gets pretty horrible when the cruise ships disembark

whats your budget? what do you want to do (other than stare at the Caldera which your three year old will do for 15 seconds?)

Personally I would stay in perissa or maybe kamari andd then go up to the Caldera for lunch/dinner/drinks etc

Alternatively I've always fancied staying here www.zannos.gr/

Hi Jambot

Have a browse here www.cheaperholidays.com/weather-forecast-72.htm ge the weather a feel for the location.

Thira is the pace to shop, but as has been said you would be beter of just oustside and then pop in for the views.
