I have spent the past few summers doing Spain (costa Del sol and Majorca). I've managed to find good deal £1000-1200) for a week including baggage, flights, transfers and HB or AI.
This year I have a similar budget but fancy trying something a bit different.
I've wondered about Croatia and Bulgaria as well as Malta and Madeira.
Spain doesn't seem as cheap this year although I've found a week HB in Costa Brava for 1000.
Hotel must have a decent pool and me fairly centrally located. Not necessarily right on a beach but within 1km so we can walk along promenade.
Want there to be good public transport links to local places to visit (costa Del sol has train along coast).
I would prefer fairly flat and accessible as ds has some mild physical disability and so walking distances is a problem.
I would prefer at least HB although will do FB/AI if cheap or do B.B. of the price is significantly lower.
Not willing to travel to Turkey and don't fancy Greece/Canaries as ds doesn't like long flights.
Flights from any London airport or Southampton or Bournemouth.
Travelling (depart) between 20-23rd August.
I know some Mners love holiday searches as much as a nosy on rightmove - so any suggestions or links to specific holidays would be great!
