Hi All,

Apologies I realise this would have been asked before however the hotels open and close so quickly.

Looking at going to the Caribbean (probably the Dominican Republic) in October with a 6mo. We both dive so are looking for an all-inclusive resort with baby minding for 6mo+

Also, any recommendation of a dive shop would be greatly welcome

Its actually quite hard to find any resorts that will take babies this young. Most places have kids clubs but they don't start this young. I suspect this is why you haven't had any replies. You might have to employ a nanny, either that you take with you or during your stay. it will be expensive and there will be issues to decide on regarding safety, how comfortable you feel etc. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear! Your best bet might be to find an independent travel agent who can do the looking and finding for you.

Dive individually so one of you is with baby.

Or take a grandparent. Is DR any good for diving? DR tends to be a bit bargain basement as far as the Carribean is concerned. I would leave it for a couple of years and try and do a holiday your child will enjoy.
