World challenge Malaria / bite creams and repellents etc for India

Hi ds is off to Himalayas and India on world challenge. Doc has advised malaria tablets not required. Can anyone recommend any great products please.... I've seen sprays, wristbands, creams, patches....

I also need a bite cream, and again there are many on the shelves!!

I went to Kenya in world challenge many years ago. I used jungle formula products and the strongest ones they have. They do both repellents and afterbites I believe xx

I find the sprays ( any of them) go straight to my sinuses. I would suggest a good cream and maybe a wristband for extra care. In the Himalayas he won't need it as too high altitude for malaria mosquitoes. Where else in India is he going?

50% deet Boots spray has always been the one that we have found works the best. it also doesn't set off asthma that some in my family have. you put in on before the suncream and we also use an insect repellent sun cream and after sun. again boots own which are really effective.

high strength deet 24/7 if in a dengue zone.

no comment on the over priced package as long as he isnt fund raising.
