Airbnb in central Paris

Sorry if this has been done to death - can’t find a recent thread on this.
Off to Paris with my 10 year old in August & looking for Airbnb recommendations that are centralish but still budget friendly (£100 per night or close to).
Would like to feel safe if out and returning late.

I thought Paris had outlawed short stay rentals?

I think would postpone booking for a couple of days and see how this plays out...

We've used this www.parisautrement.com a few times which have always been nice. Also cheaper than airbnb, some of the properties are advertised on both but airbnb has higher fees.
