Windsor/Datchet to Stansted airport for a midday flight

Hi,

What's the best way to get from Datchet to Stansted for a flight leaving at midday (to Spain, so would want to be at the airport by 10 am)?

The plan wasn't to have a car, but it seems public transport would mean going into London and then out to Stansted?

If you can take a cab to Heathrow there should be a coach link.

Ah OK, a coach from LHR to Stansted? The person we're visiting said something about a coach terminal at LHR. Can you book the coach in advance? She said she can drop us at the LHR coach terminal but I hadn't understood what she meant and was looking at flying out of LHR back to Spain, but there's no direct flight to our Spanish destination from LHR.

Yes you can book ahead. Probably a National Express but there may be others.

Looking at it now, we'd need to be on a coach at LHR at about 730 am, so I think I might book singles from Spain to Stansted (as the time is much better than into gatwick) and then out of Gatwick on the way home because the flight's four hours later than the Ryanair one from Stansted and we could get a later coach from LHR to gatwick.
