Holiday park recommendations in Europe

Am looking for recommendations for a holiday park (mobile home/chalet-stylee) in Europe. Reasonably close to an airport, with swimming pool, walking distance to the beach, lots to do, near a town, car not essential, etc. Not fussed about onsite entertainment. Not too expensive - I'm thinking about £1500 for 2 weeks in school holidays. Any recommendations? Or will my budget not stretch that far?

We have booked with Landal this year so no idea what it will be like but have a look at the website

Duinrell, Holland? Fly to Amsterdam then taxi or train. Large indoor waterpark, free theme park, approx 1 km to beach, across the road from town centre and good public transport. I'm not sure you'd get 2 weeks for £1500 though. Would that include transport too?

I always recommend Union Lido - bus from Venice airport takes about 45 mins and is easy to organise, companies like Sun Camp have mobile homes / safari tents that tend to be cheaper than Eurocamp and Canvas.

Union Lido is great. Also the Vias Plage sites - La Carabasse (Siblu) or Club Farret (most of the others). Near to Beziers airport and everything is within walking distance.

Ive worked on Union Lido and it really is a fab site. Easy to get around on the train if you wanted trips to Verona as well as being right near Venice. So much for the kids to do and it's got one of the best beaches I've been to in Europe.
