Loire - villa/gite private pool for anti social mum who just wants to drink wine

Hi

I've booked a week in lá garangeoir for 2019 and I want to follow it with a week in the loire.

I don't mind where in general loire area but my criteria are:
Garden to sit and drink wine in
Private pool, as in not shared with owners or other gites, completely private (so kids can swim while I drink wine and stare off into the distance)

Owners preferably not on site either.

There are tons of listing that claim to have private pools but are actually shared.

I'll have talked to people in lá garangeoir, I don't want to have to talk to more people in the loire

Help an anti social sister out?

I don't know the Loire but your criteria sound just like mine for a perfect holiday. I have found some great places through Owners Direct (I like to drink wine and not speak to people by a private pool in the mountains in Spain - so don't worry, we won't bump into each other & be forced into conversation)

Thank God WCC. I'll rule out the Spanish mountains to be sure though Grin

Your criteria are the same as mine! Yy to owners direct, or chez nous.

Sounds like the perfect holiday

Owners direct fan here too! We stayed in a fab villa with own pool in Sardinia though, ''twas lovely and anti social for me and my socially awkward hubby and the two kids 😁

This year we are doing the same! I trawled Owners Direct etc then anything that looked interesting I googled and we ended up booking a villa I had found on owners direct through airbnb because it was £500 cheaper 😁

I'm very surprised airbnb was cheaper, they add on plenty of extra charges. The best bet is to contact the owner direct.

If you want a private pool thebest bet is to look at 4 or 5 bedroom places. The smaller ones are more likely to be part of a complex.

Sorry to hijack, but @MrsMrsMrsMrs would you mind linking to where you stayed in Sardinia?
