Please don't include burning a hole in the CC on the Champs Elysees.

I'm also not great at museums and art galleries.

Thanks

mumtolily · 22/05/2007 12:18

So that's two of us now looking for tips.

I thought there was loads to do.

Maybe something you did on your nth visit even if not so blatently touristy

Everyone seems to love the River buses. personaly I didn't think it was the best way to spend my time, you are quite low down in the river so not the best veiws of the city and you can't just stop and go for a look at things. Plus DH snored all the way.

If you want to see a few places perhaps go for the hop on hop off bus. Or if you have a good idea where you want to go the metro is great for getting around quickly while still allowing you to mingle with Parisians not just other tourists, you can buy an all day ticket and jump on and off where you want.

Skribble · 23/05/2007 00:14

Handy site Paris Must Sees

Enid · 23/05/2007 10:09

mumtolily hopefully some of these suggestions helped

Enid · 23/05/2007 10:10

if you have never been then I would go touristy tbh - eg the eiffel tower

if you dont like museums and art galleries then maybe you wont like Paris very much at all? I have friends that don't like it much.

Enid · 23/05/2007 10:11

(i, on the other hand, love it and have an idle fantasy of moving to an ancient appartement and havign a poodle)
