Luggage options when travelling with an SEN buggy

Hi. Just checking with you all if im thinking on the right lines. Am travelling with a child in an sen pushchair plus 2 mobile kids (who will huff n puff if they have to pull any luggage). Is the best option for me to have a backpack plus a longchamp tote bag that i can hang off the handles of the pushchair to carry our luggage? Its for a 4 day trip. Thanks

Maclaren Major?

Backpack on you, back pack on the SN buggy. Dump the longchamp. It will be annoying because if you hook it on the handle bars it will hang out beyond the side on the buggy and catch on everything. Also a the weight of the backpack will be closer to the natural centre of gravity for the buggy so it will be less likely to tip if you have to get the child out

Kudos for being able to pack for 3 kids (one with SN) and a adult in anything close to a backpack and a longchamp.

Other option book special assistance and take a decent 4 wheeled suitcase

Thanks yokatsu. Yes i have a maclarens major. Its a pain though as the hood/ canopy isnt foldable. You have to detach it.

I think I used to add some velcro strapping to the hood so it strapped to the back of the handles and hung vertically down the back of the chair into the shopping basket. Have you got the shopping basket? That basket held a huge amount, I tended to put everything loose in Basket and do away with a bag altogether. it would hold the Longchamp if you were keen on taking it although something squarer would fit better
