For a couple of days at the end of the month Dh, Ds and I are staying in the moat house hotel in Stratford Upon Avon.

Has anybody got any ideas what is in Stratford, what interesting places there are and so on? We will have ds with us who is 2 so whatever we do will have to be toddler friendly! thanks

There's the Ragdoll shop home to the Teletubbies, Rosie & Jim, Tots etc complete with the boat to play on and Tletubbies slide. Big hit with dd. The river is lovely for a walk, lots of swans and ducks to feed and canal boats. If you're able to go a little bit further afield Hatton Country Farm is great and Charlecote Park. Warwick and Kenilworth very nearby have lovely parks. Kenilworth has an outdoor swimming pool and Warwick has a open air psddling pool. I'm sure I'll come up with more.

Warwick castle, Teddy Bear Museum in Stratford, Shire Horse Centre...

The BUtterfly Farm is really interesting - its just by the river and there's loads to see there.

Lovely playground on the recreation ground, the other side of the river from Holy Trinity Church. Soft play at Wacky Warehouse, just off Longbridge roundabout near Warwick (M40 junct. 13 I think), take road to Warwick and it's immediately on the right (at a pub called the Porridge Pot).

Shire Horse Centre is shut at the moment I think - but if you want animals try Hatton Country World , just outside Warwick (good shopping opportunities for mums's there too)
