Beach resort Palma Majorca

Any recommendations for a beach resort near/good transport for Palma Majorca?
I want to sunbathe/walk by the sea and DD wants to go art galleries/ cathedrals etc

we stayed in an Airbnb in can pastilla and it was fantastic. really good bus links into the centre and lots of great places to eat out as well as being right on the beach.
