We had a holiday booked for september. 2 weeks in a relaxing, out of the way villa, 1 week in a city hotel with loads of childcare (3 kids under 10). due to demands on DP, we now can't do the city break (lisbon), and have to cut the villa short unless i travel back alone with 3 kids. But, city break has availability until the 17 august. What can we do for 2 weeks between 17th Aug and 1 September. Ideally not a lot of travel involved. If DP had even an inkling of interest, i'd take them all on a leisurely stroll on the camino, but he would pay a lot of money not to do it :-) His idea of travel usually involves him and no kids and lots of new sights (and would involve me, but i'm usually at home with the kids). I'm not usually a sit about and don't do much kind of holidayer, but actually i could use a break (but will get some of that in the villa, though still self catering etc).
Inspiration anyone? Please?
