3 year old's passport photo

Hi all
We're travelling to America in August for our family holiday. DS (now 3) has a passport from when he was only 3 months old so photo is very little like him now. Just wondered whether in these days of seemingly strict border control in the US any one had had any problems getting their LOs in? I can see anecdotal advice from about 2014 suggesting it wasn't a problem, but does anyone have more recent experience please?

Many thanks!

Very recently and no problem

It will be fine! Babies have passports in America too and they’re valid for 5 years just like a British passport. So they’re more than used to it. Have a great trip and do not worry about it Grin

And we live here; DD is 2 weeks with a bad case of newborn jaundice and only 1 eye open in her passport photo, she’s 3 months in her American visa photo and at 1 year old she bares no resemblance to either photo except that they are all Caucasian babies!

It just gets trickier if you don't have the same surname as DC.

Have a great trip.
