Hi, not sure if we are too late to book anything - we are thinking of going to the Apls this summer (with 2 children 8yo and 4.5yo). We are thinking of staying in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains or Morzine as the base and visit the surrounding area. Any accomodation in those area you would recommend? Do I look for a hotel with activities to offer or need to buy some kind of activity passes and go around?

There's a terrific Eurocamp I can recommend at Annecy if you're interested.

Oh please please can you recommend me the Eurocamp in Annecy? I'm desperate to go there next summer.

It's a small park for a Eurocamp campsite and way more peaceful than we imagined. It's well located for lots of good days out.
If you book direct with the park instead of with Eurocamp, you have a better choice of accommodation including yurts and chalets. There's a partly covered pool, four lane waterslide, decent children's play area, stunning scenery, restaurant and small grocery.

Thank you! Onto the shortlist.

Thanks, we definately will visit Annecy, but unlikely staying there. I think we would prefer self catered apartment/ hotel,.. however we are not sure which area within Morzine/ Saint-Gervais would be a good/ sensible choice.

We normally stay at Chamonix and adore it if you are interested in going there.
We normally rent an apartment. So much to do. I love the place!

We decided to stay at Chamonix afterall! Now looking for coach to get there... OUIBUS seems to be good price but I saw terrible reviews. Any pointers/ recommendations on bus/ coach? (from Geneva Airport)
Also does anyone know where I can find the list of things that the Mont Blanc Multi Pass would cover (and not cover)? It's not clear on their website..

We stayed in Courcheval last summer and had a brilliant time
Everything was incredibly expensive though
spent some time in Annecy as well, it was lovely
