Have never done any kind of holiday park holiday so don’t know where to start! Looking at going to somewhere in Europe for a few nights the end of June with DS (2) and Neice (5). I’ll be 34 weeks pregnant so want it to be as easy as possible.

Ideally within 2ish hours of Calais, with good pools for the kids and maybe a short drive from a nice beach.

Beekse Bergen looks perfect but worried it’s a tad far for a short break.

Any suggestions or ones to avoid?

La Vallee is one of the most child friendly camps we've come across. It has a superb free kids club especially for LOs aged 6 months to 5 years (parents need to stay) and another for 4-6 years (can leave your DC). It also has a babysitting service in the evening. It has a toddlers pool, children's pool and two family pools (one is covered in case it rains) as well as a jacuzzi. It's about a kilometre from the nearest beach and has many good attractions within easy driving. It's 3 hours from Calais, but only half an hour from Caen if you take the six hour crossing with Brittany ferries, or 1 hr 45 mins if you take the 3 hour Portsmouth-Cherbourg crossing.

I'd suggest posting this in the camping forum. You'll get loads of advice there.
