We are stopping here for 4 nights in half term. Can anyone tell me if there are any extras I need to remember to take for a family of 4:
eg towels, teabags, kettle, hairdryer.

Any other advice would also be greatly received.
thanks

You may be able to get a hairdryer and kettle from Reception.

Thanks, so better to take them then?
Are there enough towels, blankets etc or am I being over cautious?

What else can you tell me.

I am SOOO excited.
We are taking DD1 and 2 aged 5 and 2 and not telling them where we are going until we get there. I can't wait to see their faces.
( sorry about the rant)

I would say there are enough blankets and towels. We stayed in another 2 of the disney hotels and bedding never a problem.

Quotes from trip advisor....

"We had taken tea bags coffee etc with us and we hired a kettle they only took a deposit for the kettle which we got back at the end of our stay we also got a safe from reception which was free which I thought was very good."

"BREAKFAST - it gets busy so suggest get one person get a table & others get tray of food. Note the characters come in the hotel lobby at 8.00 for photo & signing session so take this into account with your breakfast slot. Like everyone says take extra food from breakfast for your lunch/snack - I took sandwich bags which were a god send, we also had a small flask & made up coffee in the room before going out for the day.
"

"The first nights attendence to the hotel restaurant ( The Chuckwagon cafe ) came as a shock when we joined the back of the 30 min que just to get in to the buffett, you can book a reservation which gets you in within 5 - 10 minutes and is a much easier method if you remember to do so at the reception in the morning before. The food was very nice with plenty of variety for both adults and children"

Seems to be the same as other hotels on site for breakfast, busy and not very relaxing start to the day. I would make sure you reserve your slots for breakfast on arrival or even better book the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast. Never done this my self but everyone seems to recommend it and you get a head start on the rides.

Stayed at Cheyenne last year and we are returning in August.

The rooms are much smaller than I imagined but we spent very little time in there so it didn't matter. The walk from the hotel to the parks is really nice and didn't take too long.

Breakfast - terrible! Restaurant messy, noisy and generally a 'get in and out quick' type of place. We did grab extra croissants and Nutella tubs to take to the park with us during the day though.

When we return this year we have booked for the breakfasts in the parks - no extra costs but have good reviews.

The hotel is great value for money, serves it purpose and we would always stay there.

Have a fab time!

Thanks for your positive comments. I've been worrying about it now its getting so close. I'm really excited but I've read a couple of bad reviews( mostly good ones though) and I'm really rather a negative person in these circumstances.

I am really excited,sad I know, but I'm sure we'll have a great time
