3-year-old on a train - help my brain think of fun things

I'm revising, hence my brain is full of synaptic knobs and t-tests. Please help. I want to buy my lovely ds a little something for the train journey to Granny's this afternoon. I have an ELC within reach, or a proper big local toyshop, The Works etc. Please give me inspiration...

My 3 year old was recently given a plastic cheetah (£30 from there that he loves. I guess if you're on a train a toy train would go down well.
