May half term 2019 - somewhere hot with kid's club or activities?

I have a very rare opportunity to take time off during May half term next year and want to book something soon. It will be me and DD (10). Ideally I'd like somewhere shorthaul and not too £££ with activities for DD (who is a sporty tomboy who loves doing stuff with other kids) and relaxing surroundings for me. I'd like it to be hot enough to swim/lie on a lounger and read a book, and definitely half board or more.

We have done Neilson before which we both loved but I don't want to spend so much this time and I'd also like to spend a bit more time with DD who was very hard to separate from the kids club at Neilson's.

Any ideas/recommendations?

Cyprus will be lovely at half term but Turkey will be hotter ( lots of amazing places there depending on how you feel about travelling to Turkey)

What's your budget?

We are going to Turkey for Easter next year. Hotel has fantastic reviews, weather will be hot and Turkey is cheap at the moment (and perfectly safe in the tourist areas).
