Ryanair - cabin Policy & Trunki Boostapak

Has anyone flown with a trunki boostapak rucksack car seat since the introduction of the new Ryanair cabin bag policy?

The dimensions of the boostapak are too big for the 35x20x20 single bag limit. How strict will they be? I don’t want it going in hold but I’m reluctant to pay £6 to take it on board.

Hi, I know it's a while back but did Ryanair let you on board with the boostapak? I've just bought one and booked priority so allowed 2 pieces of luggage.
