Hotel/B&B Isle of Wight; Sandown, Shanklin or Ventnor anyone?

3 of us are going from work for a girlie walking, eating and drinking weekend. We're getting the ferry to Cowes on a Friday night, then a bus to our accommodation, then spending Saturday walking, and that night back at the hotel. SO what we're looking for is a reasonably priced place, no need for spas or indoor pools as we won't get the chance to us ethem, but a nice, modern or modernised place (ie proper furniture not Blackpool-landlady circa 1955 stuff, if you know what I mean!).

We're all in our 40s so not looking for wild nightlife or a disco downstairs, either!

Any ideas welcome. We need a triple or a twin + single beside eachother, and ensuite.

i've stayed here - looks like you've already booked ferries etc but they throw this into the price and usually breakfast and evening meal as well for weekend breaks. had a lovely room overlooking the sea, two of us shared but was big enough for 3 adults.
