Any recommendations of where to go for a week in October half term. Kids are 6,4 and 1. Would like some sun. Never been to an all inclusive with the children but would like to try it.

What's your budget?

Under £3000 if at all possible for 5 of us

With three DC as young as yours, I'd break the budget ever so slightly and go for TUI Family Life Flamingo Beach in Lanzarote. Despite it being all inclusive, the apartments have kitchenettes with a microwave, sink, fridge and kettle which will be really handy for preparing snacks etc...
The BabyClub crèche is open six days a week for up to three two-hour sessions a day, as well as some evenings. Fully trained staff are on hand to look after 0 to 3-year-olds, and there are toys from leading companies for them to play with.
There are family-friendly shows in the evening.
The kids club is free and offers two hours of activities each day six days a week. There are some good adult activities including a spa, gym and indoor pool for when the kids are at the club!
The entertainment team runs a daily stage class, where the children can rehearse before performing on stage during the Captain T show.
There's a separate pool for kids and another one for babies which is shaded.
The air-conditioned baby lounge is open all day, every day and provides a peaceful area to sit, relax and meet other parents. It comes with facilities like microwaves, changing tables and bottle warmers, which means there’s no need to traipse back to the room for feeds or nappy changes.
There's a children's section of the buffet.
It's only an hour from the airport and a 15 stroll to a really good sandy beach.
It's worth asking to beplaced around the quiet pool away from the Timanfaya Hotel end of the hotel.
Cots available.Baby packs can be pre-booked; include changing mat, baby bath, highchair, sterilizer and sun protection tent.

Put your departure airport, party size and dates into the Jet2holidays deals finder to see what comes up.

Generally have good prices and choice. In the October holidays, the Canaries would be perfect. Or Malta if you want a shorter flight (there's a nice beach and some nice AI hotels in Mehilla (sp?) Bay - not many other beaches on Malta).
