Anyone know if you can buy SMA formula in Majorca?

WE are off to Majorca tomorrow for a fortnight, I have packed one tin of formula for our 6 month old but just had a panicky thought that they might not sell it in the supermarkets there?

Has anyone been who knows the answer to my question.......heeeeelllllllppppppp!! THis is so typical of me to leave everything to the last minute!!

We went four years ago and were NOT able to get SMA. Annoying though it is, I would pack my own supply - at least it will give you suitcase space on the way back!

We went last year and I didn't see any either, I'm afraid. Other brands yes, but not ones that I recognised.

We used to take sachets which you make up in the same way (one sachet = one bottle). Pricier but more convenient and easier to pack. Have you got time to get to a big supermarket or Boots before you go? Might be able to get some at the airport if not?

I have been out and now have two big tins and 7 small packets of 250ml (the ready made stuff)...fingers crossed that will keep her going for two weeks!!

Apparently you have to use bottled water in Majorca but cant use ones with high mineral content.........one more thing to bloody well worry about!!

Anyway - really appreciate the best wishes for the hols, I cant wait!

You can boil tapwater like here, but if you don't have access to a kettle you're right about bottled water. Evian is generally thought to be a good make as it has a low mineral content. Have a great time!
