We are looking at French campsites that have cycle hire and nice safe routes as we have 2 young kids. Currently we are looking at through Canvas and EuroCamp. Does anyone have recommendations? Thanks.

This campsite is right by the coast and has a good bike bite service, with several good safe tracks to explore direct from the campsite. www.campingclosdespins.com/campsite-france-vendee-bicycle-hire.html
The accommodation is very similar to Eurocamp. The campsite has a heated swimming pool with waterslide and a playground. A bouncy castle goes up twice a week in the summer season and the park gets regular visits from a face painter and balloon modeller.
The town of La Tranche du Mer is an easy cycle and well worth going to. There's a small amusement park for children, a market, lots of ice cream, nice restaurants, bakeries etc... www.vendee-guide.co.uk/la-tranche-sur-mer.htm
There are some great attractions nearby, including La Puy du Fou.
