Car seats in skoda fabia

Hi does anyone know if isofix bases/seats are likely to fit well in the back of a skoda fabia/estate?

The problem I have with our current very old golf is that whilst it technically fits our maxi-cosi/pebble combo, the front passenger seat has to be so far forwards that my wife (5'10") won't fit in it. This isn't a problem currently as we only have one baby but it will be a problem when the second comes along.

Any real life experiences greatly received - thank you all!

Sam

Hi there,

We're 14 weeks pregnant and have just bought a Skoda Fabia premium sport pack as a second car (now the husband has a new job and no longer gets a work car), so I am looking around at what will work.
When we get the Fabia (in about a month) I'll start testing car seats, but for now found this facebook post www.facebook.com/pg/RearFacingToddlers/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1199625776847936 about one capsule that doesn't work in the Fabia and one that does.
I know its not all the info you need but thought it might be at least a little helpful for you.

I use one now and again and have used two isofix seats in it. Both fitted easily however the baby was young and didn't need leg room. You could always put the seat behind the driver so the passenger seat will have more room to move back.

I should also add that the facebook page I put the link for is a group in the UK. Not sure what country you're in but the capsule/seat brands might be different...
