I wouldn't be so sure about thewater in the older hotel bedrooms as it might not come straight off the mains. Bottled water isn't expensive.

Agree about the street fountains, loads of them, including in St Peters! I wouldn't drink hotel tap water anywhere, but would fill a reusable bottle from street fountains.
